Geo Ops — Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 22, 2026
1. Introduction
Geo Ops ("the Application") is an internal business application developed and operated by Hyuman ("we," "us," or "our").
This Privacy Policy explains how Geo Ops collects, accesses, uses, stores, protects, and shares information, including data obtained through Google API services.
Geo Ops is intended exclusively for authorized Hyuman employees and approved collaborators. It is not a public-facing service.
This policy applies to Geo Ops and does not replace any separate privacy policy governing Hyuman's corporate website.
2. Information We Collect
When you use Geo Ops, we may process the following categories of information:
Account and authentication information
- Work email address and information necessary to identify and authenticate authorized users.
- Application account identifiers and assigned access permissions.
- Authentication and session information needed to maintain secure access.
Google Ads API information
When an authorized user connects a Google account or when Geo Ops operates through an authorized Google Ads connection, the Application may access:
- Google Ads account and customer identifiers.
- Keyword ideas and related search terms.
- Historical search volume and search-demand metrics.
- Keyword competition and advertising bid estimates.
- Geographic and language targeting information used for keyword planning.
- Other Google Ads keyword-planning data necessary for the Application's research functionality.
The Application requests Google API permissions for the features it provides. Google account credentials are entered directly through Google's authorization process; Geo Ops does not receive your Google password.
Application usage information
We may process searches submitted within Geo Ops, generated research results, saved application preferences, operational logs, and diagnostic information needed to provide and secure the Application.
3. How We Use Information
Information processed by Geo Ops is used to:
- Authenticate users and control access to the Application.
- Retrieve keyword research and planning information through the Google Ads API.
- Display and organize keyword, search-volume, competition, and geographic research results.
- Support authorized internal marketing research and planning.
- Maintain application functionality, security, and reliability.
- Investigate errors, prevent unauthorized access, and provide technical support.
Information obtained from Google APIs is used only for the application's disclosed functionality and legitimate internal business operations.
Geo Ops does not sell Google user data, provide it to data brokers, or use it to build advertising profiles for unrelated purposes.
4. Google API Access and Permissions
Geo Ops uses Google's OAuth 2.0 authorization framework to obtain permission to access the Google Ads API.
Users are shown the permissions requested by Google before granting authorization. Access is limited to Google Ads accounts for which the authorizing account has the necessary permissions.
Geo Ops uses Google Ads access to perform keyword research and retrieve planning data. The Application is not intended to create, modify, or delete advertising campaigns.
Access to information received from Google APIs is governed by Google's applicable API terms and user-data policies.
Geo Ops's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will comply with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including applicable Limited Use requirements.
5. Data Storage and Retention
Geo Ops may retain the information necessary to operate its internal research features, including authorized account identifiers, research queries, generated results, and application configuration.
Where persistent Google authorization is required, access or refresh tokens may be securely retained to maintain the authorized connection.
Information is retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, subject to applicable legal obligations and Hyuman's internal retention requirements.
Users may request disconnection of an authorized Google account and deletion of associated information, subject to legitimate retention requirements. Revoking Google authorization prevents further access through that authorization but does not automatically remove previously saved research results.
6. Data Sharing
Geo Ops is an internal application. Access to its information is restricted to authorized Hyuman personnel and approved collaborators who require it for their work.
Information may be processed by infrastructure and service providers, including Cloudflare (hosting and AI processing) and Supabase (authentication and database), where necessary to host, operate, secure, and maintain the Application. At a user's direction, information may also be written to connected services such as Notion.
We may also disclose information where required by applicable law or necessary to protect the security and integrity of the Application.
We do not sell Google user data or provide unrestricted access to Google account information to external customers or unrelated third parties.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards intended to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
These measures include authentication, access restrictions, protected application credentials, and secure communication channels.
Access to internal application data is limited according to operational responsibilities.
No method of storage or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
8. Google Account Authorization and Revocation
You can review or revoke Geo Ops's access to your Google account through your Google Account connections settings.
Revoking access will prevent the Application from making further authorized API requests through that connection.
To request deletion of stored authorization information or associated personal information, contact Hyuman using the contact details below.
9. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on applicable data protection law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or to object to or restrict certain processing.
Requests can be submitted to the contact address below. Requests will be handled in accordance with applicable law and legitimate organizational requirements.
Information may be processed in countries where Hyuman or its infrastructure providers operate, subject to applicable data protection requirements.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the Application, its integrations, legal requirements, or data-handling practices.
The latest version will be published at this page with an updated revision date. Material changes to the use of Google user data will be communicated as required, and additional authorization will be obtained where necessary.
